Mr. Braley and Family

I am in my 24th year at Chisholm Elementary School.  I come from a family of teachers, and I also married a teacher. Teaching has always been what I felt I was meant to do.
I am a graduate of Phillips University. My father was a professor there.and enjoyed the fact that I also chose education as my career.
Brenda, my wife, just retired from teaching after thirty-seven years. She and I found time to raise five children during those years as well.
Christopher, our oldest son, lives in Colorado Springs. He and his wife Tyra have given us five grandchildren, and became grandparents themselves with the birth of our first great-grandchild.
Heath, our second son, also lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Shauna. They have blessed us with three grandchildren.
Adam, my youngest son, and his wife Tessa live in Edmond, Oklahoma. They have given us three more grandchildren to be proud of.
Jamie, our fourth child, has just returned from South Korea where she taught four years. We are glad to get her back in the U.S.A. She is working, at the present time, in the Enid School System.
Heather, our youngest child, just got married and is living ,with her husband Brandt, in Lawrence, Kansas. Heather is finishing up her Masters Degree at the University of Kansas, and Brandt is attending Kansas State University.
Wow!! I have truly been blessed.

Here are some of the exciting things that we will be doing
in Science this year!

The Ugly Bug Contest
Designing Electric Panels
The Compound Machine Challenge
Dinosaur CIty
The Egg Capsule Drop
Building Space Habitats
The Science Bowl
Notes will be going home to let you know when each event will be held.
