 llllllllll ABOUT ME  llllllllll

Hello, my name is Keisha Ott and I am so excited to be a part of the fifth grade team. This will be my second year teaching at Chisholm, and third year teaching fifth grade. I am proud to be a Chisholm Longhorn!  I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) where I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I teach English and Writing to all the students in 5th grade, then Science, Social Studies, and Spelling to my homeroom class. I love teaching fifth graders! I love my job and consider it a blessing to interact with students every day.

I am originally from Ada, OK. I moved to Stillwater to earn my degree, then to Norman while my husband, Cody, continued his education at OU Law. We moved to Enid Cody received a job offer here. We are happy to be a part of such a great community here at Chisholm! I have a large family that I love so very much, and very much enjoy spending time with them! My husband is my best friend and my #1 supporter. I have two younger sisters, an older sister in law, an older brother in law, and two pretty cute nephews who are one and two and a half. My family is my rock and I would not be where I am today if it weren't for them.

I am SO excited for a wonderful year in fifth grade! When students come to fifth grade, they begin rotating classes. I believe it is a huge benefit and aids greatly in our efforts to prepare them for middle school next year. It is my goal that every student have the opportunity to be successful. I have high expectations for every student, and high expectations for a GREAT year!
