High School Air Conditioning update: We have 9 classrooms without Air Conditioning. We are not using these rooms to teach in. Mrs. Black and the high school staff have been able to move classes around to put kids in rooms with air conditioning. The commons area and the cafeteria are the only places that kids will be during the day without a working air conditioner. We do have a portable AC unit we have rented for the cafeteria staff that is helping.
We are actively working with multiple companies to find a solution to this problem. There are people at the high school right now trying to find a solution to get air as soon as possible. This has been an ongoing conversation with these companies since Monday.
When we find a solution you will probably hear the celebration from everyone in the high school!! This is not an ideal situation but I appreciate the flexibility the high school and middle school staff have shown to make it the best possible situation for our students. We will continue to work diligently to solve this issue. Thank you for the endless support you show our students and staff.

Due to the number of kids interested, we are planning to make this a 6th grade team only. We will open it up to 5th graders if we are low on numbers. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Thank you!

We have added more S&C classes to our elective options for our students. For in-season or out of season student-athletes, this is a great opportunity to continue our students' athletic progress within the school day. In substitution &/or addition to coming before school or after practice to adhere to our athletic programs' S&C expectations, students may join this class to get their minimum of two lifts across an entire school week span. #BestIsTheStandard #RARE #HORNS
