
Garfield county remained below 35 per 100,000 this week, so our COVID protocols will not change from what they currently are. The current protocol is listed below:
Masks will not be required for staff and students unless there is an increased risk of community spread and in areas that a certain level of risk has been determined, masks may be required. There will still be mask zones in certain classrooms and in certain areas as determined by building administration.

When the Oklahoma State Department of Health Color Coded Risk Level Trends show Garfield County to be under 35 new cases per 100,000 population, based on a seven-day rolling average, Masks will not be required for staff and students unless there is an increased risk of community spread and in areas that a certain level of risk has been determined, masks may be required.
There will still be mask zones in certain classrooms and in certain areas as determined by building administration. We will update our weekly protocols every Friday after Garfield County releases the numbers.

Chisholm Public Schools will remain virtual through Friday. Hopefully with warmer temperatures and snow removal we will be able to be face to face on Monday. Be safe and stay warm.

Due to parking lot conditions low temperatures Chisholm Public Schools will be virtual Tuesday and Wednesday. We will evaluate conditions on Wednesday for the remainder of the week. We are currently trying to clear parking lots and walkways, however with the current temperatures it is slow going.

Your student's teachers will be in contact with you about class work and assignment help times. If your student needs a device please contact your student's building administration. The district will begin delivering devices to those who need one starting tomorrow.

MS Basketball games versus Enid tonight have been cancelled.

Tomorrow's MS games versus Enid will be played at Enid's new high school gym located on the southeast side of Enid High School.

Due to COVID and a shortage of staff Chisholm High School will be virtual starting Wednesday, January 20 until Monday, January 25. Students will return to face-to-face learning on Tuesday, January 26. Currently all activities will continue as scheduled. If your student would like to pick up a lunch they can contact Rhonda Robinett at 580-234-0234 x350. Lunch pickup will take place at the Middle School cafeteria.

Parents, If your child has not returned their chrome book protection plan, please have them return it tomorrow to the middle school office.

Wheat Capital Basketball Fans, we have had to make some major sacrifices in order to continue to host the 52nd Annual Wheat Capital Tournament. Our main priority is to host the tournament as safely as possible. In order to do that, we have to restrict attendance. We are only offering a few tickets to the public. You have to have a ticket to enter. There are no ticket purchases at the gate. Just a reminder that Monday, January 4th is a Professional Development Day. Students will resume face-to-face instruction on Tuesday, January 5th.

Due to the number of Elementary staff who will be out on quarantine or isolation Chisholm Elementary will be virtual starting December 15th and going through December 18th. The Elementary students will return to face-to-face instruction on January 5th. Devices will be sent home today with your student.

The Middle School and High School students will return to face-to-face instruction on January 5th. All Middle School and High School activities will be canceled. However, Chisholm Elementary will still have face-to-face instruction on campus during that week

The Home Basketball season starts tonight for our Varsity Teams. Please help us by wearing a mask to the games. We want to do everything possible to ensure our student athletes get the opportunity to compete. Thanks for your support and Go Longhorns!
